she's 14, she listens to the radio. I HEAR HER SINGING ALONG TO rah rah ah ah ah roma roma ma gaga ooh la la IN HER ROOM ALL THE TIME... but the music video for it came on one of those billions of MTV channels and I guess mom was in the room too, because the entire time little sister sat there and heckled it. I could hear the whole thing from my room it was pretty amazing and i guess she... thinks she's a man??? ok.

my other little sister is coughing a lot and even though I have threatened to smack her every time she doesn't cover her mouth when she coughs, she still will not listen to me. the entire family is going to catch Mongolian Death Flu just in time for Thanksgiving it'll be a wonderful holiday gift.

I caught some more fancy-pants music videos on... I think it was "MTV Hits." I guess it's ~fashion day~ or something because the 3 or 4 videos i caught all had the same sort of ridiculous avant-garde thing going on that Lady Gaga's videos do.

god help me the fashion's so impractical and ridiculous-looking on normal people but i... i like it. *sob* it's fascinating... I am so ashamed.

and this afternoon I was walking to the bus stop to pick up my brother and sister. this flock of birds was flying around in circles maybe 20 feet off the ground for at least 10 minutes. I guess the lead bird was too proud to ask for directions. :(

!!!COLLEGE UPDATE!!! uh not much actually. I scheduled my placement tests, the only available times are at the end of November/beginning of December, SO. After I take that I meet with an advisor and we talk schedulan and payin things, probably.

i need a photo id really bad sob. it's bad enough that I got carded at a Gamestop but my passport expired a while ago (I only used it... one time. when I went to Germany in like 10th grade ffff) and I need some kind of photo identification to go get my test on. I've got over a month I CAN DO IT

haaaaa i wish i had more to talk about! somehow i accidentally slept all day. i used the new stove to cook things this morning and didn't burn everything!! that is one heck of an accomplishment, i tell you what. even when it's only on low it's somehow still a million times hotter than our old stove ever got. mmmmmm bacon

is anybody good at macs? i have a powerbook g4 and it's running... leopard i think. osx 10.5.8. it's also running firefox 3.5 AND THIS IS WHERE I AM HAVING PROBLEMS. my tablet (i-it's just an old bamboo gosh) runs just fine on drawing applications and stuff, but when i go to use tegaki or any other web-based drawing app it just fails completely. tegaki, pchat, oekaki, whatever, they all spaz in the same way. i have to draw slower than should be humanly possible for tegaki's canvas to pick up on anything. any kind of sketching is kind of thrown out the window because if i draw any faster than a snail's pace the thing spazzes and doesn't pick anything up. draw a circle, you get a triangle. and idk if it's just because mac or what, but every time i go past the edge of the canvas in tegaki it spazzes and acts like i've never picked up the pen.

help :(

but i did watch the adventures of buckaroo banzai for the first time in years this morning so i guess it all balances out. fucen love that movie...
